Established in 1979 and officially incorporated in 1983, the Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter of SWANA has evolved from a governmental refuse association into a premier organization of over 200 public and private sector professionals. For over 40 years, the Chapter has been dedicated to advancing the solid waste management industry across Colorado and the greater Rocky Mountain region.
